1. Frequent use
Don’t just take your silver cutlery or other silver treasures out of the cupboard for special occasions. Long periods of storage can cause cutlery to tarnish. Daily use of the cutlery is the best protection against discolouration.
2. Dishwasher-safe
Most silver or silver-plated products from Sonja Quandt Manufaktur are dishwasher-safe. However, you should rinse used cutlery promptly, as food residues such as cooking salt and acidic substances can attack the silver.
3. Do not wait too long
When the first discolourations appear, you should not wait too long before using the care products, as they are still very easy to remove. The darker and longer the stains are on the silver, the more difficult they are to remove.
