As part of an asset deal, the traditional WILKENS brand will find a new home in the middle of the year at Silbermanufaktur Gebr. KG, which already manages the SONJA QUANDT brand.

From July 1st, 2024, the WILKENS brand will become part of the brand family of Gebr. KG in Schwäbisch Gmünd. The manufactory managed by Sonja Quandt, whose main brand bears the name of its owner, is thus expanding its range to include premium stainless steel and parts of the silver collection.

WILKENS can look back on over 200 years of tradition and is known for its exclusive silver and stainless steel cutlery ranges.

With this strategic integration, the Kühn company aims to strengthen its market position in the high-quality cutlery sector and to realise synergies between the SONJA QUANDT and WILKENS brands.

Highest quality in design, product and customer service are common features of the brands and form the basis for the future of the brand family, which fulfils the highest customer demands in silver and then also in stainless steel.

Kühn GmbH & Co. KG is thus continuing on its path to becoming a full-service provider in the areas of tableware for the retail, interior, hotel and catering sectors, as well as projects in the field of aircraft and yacht equipment, and is strengthening the Schwäbisch Gmünd trade location for the future.
